Seasonal Groundskeeper/ Golf Course Maintenance

Job Summary We are currently seeking dedicated, hardworking individuals to join our Golf Course Maintenance Team at Winnetka Golf Club! This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and playability of the golf course. If you enjoy working outdoors, with your hands, or are looking for a change of scenery from your current indoor role, this could be the job for you! Responsibilities Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough Operate equipment including riding mowers, trimmers, and blowers Rake and maintain bunkers Repair divots and ball marks Assist with irrigation repair and hand watering Perform landscaping and groundskeeping tasks Complete seasonal projects (aeration, overseeding, leaf removal) Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions Qualifications · 6-month experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred. · Ability to walk three (3) miles per hour. · Visually inspect all work areas, golf course and grounds. · Proficient in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. · Operate vehicles and equipment for several hours at a time. · Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time · Lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly · Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
