Job Title: Greenkeeper Location: Ireland Job Type: Full-time Contract: Permanent Salary: €36,605 per year, depending on experience Working Hours: 39 hours per week

An established and well-maintained golf club in South Central part of Ireland is seeking a motivated and reliable Greenkeeper to join its grounds maintenance team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the golf course and surrounding grounds to a consistently high standard.

This position may be suitable for experienced Non-EU candidates with a background in greenkeeping, grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain golf course areas, including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and surrounding grounds.Mow, trim, edge, fertilise, aerate, and maintain turf as required.Assist with seeding, turf care, drainage, irrigation, and general course maintenance.Operate and maintain greenkeeping machinery and equipment safely.Assist with weed, pest, and disease control.Carry out general landscaping and grounds maintenance duties.Maintain tools, machinery, and equipment in good working condition.Report any maintenance or safety issues to the relevant supervisor.Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment.Work effectively as part of a greenkeeping team and follow daily maintenance schedules.Requirements

Previous experience in greenkeeping, grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture, or a similar outdoor role is preferred.Knowledge of turf and grass maintenance is an advantage.Experience operating grounds maintenance machinery is desirable.Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.Good attention to detail and pride in the quality of work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Basic English communication skills.Relevant qualifications in greenkeeping, horticulture, landscaping, or turf management are an advantage but are not essential where relevant practical experience can be demonstrated.
