Golf Course Groundskeeper (Full Time)

El Conquistador Golf Club , located in Oro Valley, AZ , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Groundskeeper ! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Summary: The Groundskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Must possess the ability design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course Experience with operating greens/fairway mowers preferred Must possess the ability to create spray programs for the golf course including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and landscaping Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations Ability to give oral and written instructions Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation Must be dependable Responsibilities: Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facility Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as needed Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms: Healthcare Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Time Off – Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteria Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.
