Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Assistant Tournament Coordinator supports the planning and execution of all confirmed group events at Red Hawk Golf and Resort. This position becomes the main internal point of contact, coordinating details to ensure every tournament experience exceeds service standards. This role requires organization, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic resort environment. Assists with other areas of Golf Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Tournament Set-Up & Break down: Assist in Tournament set-up and logistics. Contracts & Deposits: Creating contract proposals, securing signed contracts and deposits. Coordination: Collaborate with the Golf Management Team, food and beverage teams, and outside services to ensure smooth execution for tournament and/or event. Other job duties as assigned to support the Golf Management team. Required Skills: Organization: High attention to detail for managing complex event schedules. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with sponsors and golfers. Technology: Proficiency with tournament software and office software. Adaptability: Ability to resolve issues quickly during live events. Regular and Reliable attendance required. Availability to work weekends and holidays. Qualifications: Previous experience in golf operations, or event management preferred. Knowledge of golf rules and tournament formats, preferred.
