We are seeking an experienced and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional course conditions and wants to be part of a talented team during an exciting period of transformation.
Working alongside the Golf Course Superintendent and management team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the irrigation systems that support outstanding playing conditions every day.

This position helps ensure optimal turf health through effective water management while supporting the overall conditioning and presentation of the golf course.
Essential Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain the golf course irrigation system. Troubleshoot and repair irrigation heads, valves, pipe, wiring, controllers, pumps, and related components. Monitor daily water usage and recommend irrigation adjustments based on weather conditions and turf needs. Perform preventative maintenance on irrigation equipment and pump stations. Maintain accurate irrigation records, including rainfall, water usage, repairs, and maintenance activities. Assist with pump station operation, maintenance, and repairs. Maintain an organized inventory of irrigation parts and supplies. Keep the irrigation parts room clean, organized, and fully stocked. Operate irrigation heads manually in areas requiring supplemental watering. Assist with watering-in fertilizers and plant protectants under the direction of licensed staff. Operate golf course maintenance equipment, utility vehicles, and light construction equipment as needed. Assist with special golf course projects and course improvements. Support the Golf Course Maintenance team with additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience working with golf course or commercial landscape irrigation systems preferred. Knowledge of irrigation controllers, valves, hydraulics, pumps, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques. Understanding of turfgrass management principles. Ability to safely operate golf course maintenance equipment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Interest in the game of golf is a plus. Valid driver's license required. Physical Requirements This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and involves:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing, and repetitive motion Lifting and moving irrigation materials and equipment Exposure to heat, humidity, rain, noise, mechanical equipment, and occasionally chemicals Use of appropriate personal protective equipment as required
