Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Snack Shack / Cafe Attendant, where you'll be the friendly face behind the counter, delivering exceptional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our Members. In this dynamic role, you'll handle food preparation, manage Member orders with efficiency, operate POS systems, and ensure a clean and organized workspace.

Duties

Take food and drink orders from golfers on-course in a timely manner.Mix cocktails to order.Safely operate a portable bar/beverage cart in a fast-paced environment.Engage with Members in a friendly manner, maintaining a positive attitude throughout shift.Communicate clearly with staff and Members.Accurately describe all food & drink offerings, making suggestions/ideas for substitutions as necessary.Collect and process payments accurately via an electronic POS system.Maintain clean/sanitary serving and prep areasOperate with integrity while unsupervisedPrepare and serve a variety of snacks, beverages, and light meals with precision and careOperate POS systems such as EZ Suites POS to process sales transactions accuratelyManage Member orders efficiently, upselling items to enhance Member experience and increase salesMaintain a clean, sanitized workspace by following food safety standards and sanitation protocolsProcess cash and card payments, and process retail sales transactionsProvide excellent customer service by greeting Members warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptlyRequirements

Must have one year of serving experienceProfessional communication and sales skills along with a positive and friendly attitudeKnowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesFamiliarity with golf course rules and regulations to ensure a positive experience for golfersPhysical stamina to spend extended period outdoors, often in varying weather conditions, as well as carry heavy trays and coolersAvailability to work weekends, holidays, early morningsThis role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their food industry expertise while providing top-notch service in a lively setting.

Pay: $12.15 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
