About the Role
Description
As our Golf Cart Attendant, you will handle golf cart reservations for guests at the Resort. You will work in a fast-paced environment and are responsible for the daily care and cleaning of the golf carts and ensuring they’re in excellent operating condition for guests. Additionally, you will keep a daily log of golf cart rentals and returns, and ensure guests and customers receive quality customer service.
This is a seasonal position that may require flexible scheduling availability.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Greet guests and customers; fulfills golf cart reservationsFollow safety procedures while performing job duties, including safely operating golf cartsClean and maintain golf carts and wash areas on a daily basisProvide guests with golf cart operation and equipment instructionsProvide information and respond to guest inquiries regarding the resort and local attractions, directions, etc.Ensure guests follow proper safety procedures when operating golf cartsInspect golf cart and equipment to detect wear and damage and to ensure the safety, cleanliness and proper working orderPerform minor repairs and communicate major damage and additional maintenance concerns to Guest Services Supervisor or ManagerEnsure golf cart batteries are charged on a daily basis

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
