General Manager - Restaurant

About the Position Rustic Golf Properties is seeking a hands-on Restaurant General Manager to lead Rustic Grill at Glacier Wood Golf Club. Rustic Golf Properties operates the restaurant independently from the golf course, and we are looking for someone who can take true ownership of the restaurant's day-to-day operation. This is not a desk-management position. We are looking for a leader who enjoys being involved in the operation—working with employees, interacting with guests, helping during busy periods and building a strong team and culture. The General Manager will have significant responsibility and autonomy to run Rustic Grill as a successful business while receiving support from the Rustic Golf Properties leadership team. What You'll Be Responsible For Lead the overall day-to-day operation of Rustic GrillRecruit, train, schedule and lead restaurant employeesManage and develop the Kitchen Manager and Front-of-House/Bar LeadCreate schedules based on projected sales and established labor budgetsMaintain excellent guest service and resolve customer concernsOversee food and beverage ordering and inventory controlsMonitor food cost, beverage cost, labor and other controllable expensesMaintain cash-handling and POS proceduresEnsure restaurant cleanliness, food safety and liquor-service standardsMaintain consistent food quality and service standardsWork closely with Glacier Wood Golf Club management to provide a great experience for golfers and guestsHelp coordinate restaurant events, golf-related functions and other group businessReview weekly operating results and monthly financial performanceIdentify opportunities to increase sales and improve profitabilityBuild a positive, accountable workplace cultureWhat We're Looking For We care more about finding the right leader than checking every box on a résumé. The ideal candidate: Has restaurant, bar, hospitality or food-and-beverage management experienceIs comfortable leading both front-of-house and back-of-house employeesUnderstands scheduling and labor managementHas experience with inventory, ordering and cost controlsIs comfortable working with budgets and basic restaurant financialsCommunicates clearly and holds employees accountableLeads by example and is willing to jump in when the restaurant is busyProvides excellent customer serviceIs organized, dependable and able to solve problems independentlyWants responsibility and enjoys having ownership over resultsCompensation Base Salary: $50,000–$65,000, depending on experience Performance Bonus: Opportunity to earn up to approximately $7,500 annually based on restaurant performance. Performance incentives will focus on areas such as: Restaurant profitabilityLabor managementFood and beverage cost controlGuest experienceOperational and staffing standardsSchedule This is a full-time, year-round management position. The General Manager should expect to work approximately 45–50 hours per week during peak periods, including evenings, weekends and holidays based on business needs.
