Guest Experience Associate – ROK Golf Starting Pay: $15.00/hour + Tips + Sales Commissions Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Locations: ROK Golf – Bee Cave & Westlake, Austin, TX About ROK Golf ROK Golf is a premium indoor golf experience combining TrackMan technology, professional golf instruction, and hospitality to create an exceptional environment for golfers of all skill levels. The Role Guest Experience Associates are the front line of ROK Golf. You'll welcome customers, walk them to their bays, get them set up, assist with TrackMan, check in throughout their visit, maintain the facility, manage reservations and transactions, and help customers discover the memberships, lessons, leagues, events, and programs that fit their needs. This is a hands-on hospitality position. When we're busy, your focus is taking care of customers and keeping operations running smoothly. When we're slower, we expect you to stay productive by cleaning, organizing, learning, completing tasks, engaging with customers, or finding another way to make ROK better. Our expectation is simple: See what needs to be done and take ownership of it. What You'll Do Greet every customer and provide a friendly, professional welcome. Walk customers to their bay, get them set up, and make sure they're comfortable using the technology. Proactively check in with customers throughout their visit rather than waiting for them to ask for help. Learn TrackMan and confidently assist with basic operation, games, practice features, and troubleshooting. Manage reservations, check-ins, payments, bay transitions, and other daily operations. Maintain high cleanliness standards throughout bays, bathrooms, common areas, equipment, glass, and the overall facility. Complete opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities thoroughly. Learn ROK's memberships, lessons, leagues, events, and other programs. Confidently recommend and promote ROK services when they make sense for the customer. Build relationships that encourage customers to return. Handle basic customer concerns professionally and communicate larger issues to management. Identify and report maintenance or operational issues. Stay productive during downtime and look for opportunities to improve the facility and customer experience. Who We're Looking For The right person for this position is hungry, dependable, coachable, and driven. You don't need years of experience. We'd rather hire someone with the right attitude and teach them our business. You should be someone who: Enjoys interacting with people. Takes initiative without needing constant supervision. Takes pride in doing things correctly. Can multitask and stay organized during busy periods. Is comfortable cleaning and maintaining a facility. Can accept feedback and use it to improve. Is comfortable discussing and selling products and services. Wants to learn and take on additional responsibility. Works well as part of a team. Wants an opportunity to grow rather than simply collect hours. Preferred, But Not Required Golf knowledge or interest in golf. TrackMan or golf simulator experience. Hospitality, customer service, or front-of-house experience. Sales experience. Experience with Square or another POS system. Experience with reservations or scheduling systems. Schedule & Requirements Must be 18 years or older. Must have a valid TABC certification or be willing to obtain one. Evening and weekend availability is required. Must be comfortable working opening and/or closing shifts. Closing shifts include cleaning and facility-closing responsibilities. Must be able to work at both Bee Cave and Westlake when needed. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Compensation & Growth Starting compensation is $15.00/hour + tips + sales commissions. ROK rewards employees who contribute to the growth of the business. Team members have opportunities to earn additional compensation through customer tips and qualifying sales commissions. Every new Guest Experience Associate will also receive a 60-day performance and compensation review. Employees who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, initiative, customer service, knowledge of ROK operations, and commitment to the ROK Standards will be eligible for an increase in hourly pay.
