Overview Part-time outside golf services position at The Clubs at St. James in Southport, North Carolina. The role supports a positive experience for members and guests while providing an opportunity to grow knowledge of golf club operations. Experience Required High school diploma or GED.Six months to one year of customer service experience or training.Regular and reliable attendance.Valid driver’s license. Essential Responsibilities Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.Provide sincere and courteous service to guests, including bag handling and club cleaning.Maintain the cart staging area, podium, and bag drop area in a neat and orderly fashion.Maintain the cart storage and cart wash-down areas in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.Prepare golf carts for play following Troon Golf standards.Assist in educating players regarding course policy, cart policy, and pace of play.Assist players by changing golf spikes when needed.Perform range maintenance and maintain practice ball inventory throughout the day.Direct start of play when necessary.Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs.Service customers renting golf clubs and clean rental clubs upon return.Assist with food and beverage activities.Clean golfers' clubs upon completion of play.Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.Perform other duties as required.
