Job Overview
This is administrative and supervisory work in the maintenance, operation and management of a golf course.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Graduation from a standard senior high school, or successful completion of the GED test, and a minimum of five years administrative and supervisory experience in golf course construction, maintenance and repair; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
Must possess Department of Agriculture certification in the proper handling of chemicals utilized on a golf course.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting Salary (City of Mobile): $54,505.
Applicants must meet established medical and physical standards for the class of work. The medical examination must be performed by a physician designated by the Personnel Board, and the applicant bears the cost.
