Summary: As part of our Housekeeping & Maintenance staff at Hillcrest Country Club, you will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, appearance, and overall functionality of our Club facilities.While the primary focus of this position is housekeeping and general facility maintenance, this is a versatile, hands-on role that supports all departments and areas of Club operations.The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, detail-oriented, and willing to step in wherever assistance is needed.From maintaining clean and welcoming facilities to assisting with Club events, room setups, equipment movement, and daily operational needs, this position works closely with multiple departments to ensure a seamless experience for our members, guests, and employees.We are looking for a team player who takes pride in their work, demonstrates initiative, and understands that exceptional hospitality is a shared responsibility across every department at Hillcrest Country Club.

Key Responsibilities: Housekeeping & Facility Cleanliness (70%) Maintain the cleanliness of all interior and exterior clubhouse areas, including kitchens, administrative offices, racquets facility, swimming pool, and maintenance buildings. Perform thorough cleaning and upkeep of all spaces, including regularly sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, removing trash, cleaning windows, and restocking supplies to ensure every area remains fresh, organized, and inviting. Ensure a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.

Follow safety guidelines and properly handle cleaning chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and maintain a well-kept environment.

Light Maintenance Support (30%) Assist with minor repairs both inside and outside the clubhouse, including plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, and ventilation systems. Report maintenance issues promptly and support troubleshooting efforts as needed. Support the operation and upkeep of the swimming pool, including cleaning and monitoring equipment.

Ensure fire, music, and TV systems are functioning properly throughout the property. Perform seasonal weather-related maintenance and upkeep, including clearing walkways, addressing weather-related wear and tear, and ensuring outdoor areas remain safe and well-maintained throughout changing conditions.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Previous custodial and/or maintenance experience preferred. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor.
