About the Role
This role is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to golfers on the course, enhancing their overall experience, and contributing to the club’s positive reputation. The ideal candidate is outgoing, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Weekdays and Weekends (availability for both is required)
Shift Hours
Varied shifts with a start time from 8 AM to a possible close of 8 PM
Note
Hours may be adjusted seasonally or based on tournament and event schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Service:
Proactively drive the beverage cart along the designated golf course route, stopping frequently to offer and sell food, alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks to golfers.
Handle all credit, and digital transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
Follow all state and local laws regarding the service of alcohol, strictly checking IDs to ensure legal drinking age.
Inventory and Operations:
Stock and organize the beverage cart before the start shift according to par levels and course demand.
Maintain accurate inventory records for all items sold.
Clean, sanitize, and properly secure the cart and all equipment by the end of the shift.
Customer Experience:
Provide warm, friendly, and professional customer service to all members and guests.
Be knowledgeable about the menu items, daily specials, and the golf course layout.
Safety and Compliance:
Operate the beverage cart safely and courteously around golfers.
Adhere to all local TIPS/RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) regulations, including recognizing signs of intoxication and refusing service appropriately.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older due to the service and sale of alcoholic beverages.
Experience: Previous experience in food and beverage service, hospitality, or retail sales is preferred.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills; must be articulate and engaging.
Integrity: Proven ability to handle cash and inventory accurately and honestly.
Certification: Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Food Handler’s Permit and a state-mandated Alcohol Service Certification.
Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as this role involves operating a utility vehicle/golf cart.
Work Environment: Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions (heat, sun, light rain). Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk frequently.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with golf course operations, etiquette, and terminology.
Experience operating a POS system (e.g., Square, ForeUp).
A pre-existing knowledge of common beers, wines, and mixed drinks.
