Position Overview
This position is responsible for assisting in the daily maintenance, presentation, and overall conditioning of Susquehanna Valley Country Club.
Position Responsibilities
As a Full-Time Grounds Crew employee, You are responsible for assisting in the daily maintenance, presentation, and overall conditioning of the golf course.
As operational needs change throughout the year, responsibilities may be adjusted by the Superintendent to best support the golf course maintenance operation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist with daily golf course setup, including changing cups, setting tee markers, emptying trash receptacles, and servicing ball washers.
Mow greens, tees, fairways, approaches, rough, and other maintained turf areas as assigned.
Maintain and rake bunkers.
Perform string trimming, edging, and general landscape maintenance.
Repair divots, install sod, and complete general golf course detail work.
Assist with fertilizer applications and other seasonal turf maintenance projects.
Assist with aerification, topdressing, overseeding, and other cultural practices.
Safely operate golf course maintenance equipment while performing routine cleaning and inspections.
Assist with tournament preparation, special events, and golf course improvement projects.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the maintenance and presentation of the golf course.

Report to work on time and prepared for each workday.
Maintain a positive, professional attitude while representing Susquehanna Valley Country Club.
Perform all duties safely while following club policies and established safety procedures.
Take pride in the appearance, cleanliness, and maintenance of the golf course, equipment, and maintenance facility.
Communicate course conditions, maintenance concerns, and irrigation issues promptly to the Superintendent.
Work respectfully and cooperatively with fellow employees, management, members, and guests.
Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to assist in all areas of the golf course maintenance operation as needed.
Perform assigned duties with integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
Support the goals and standards established by the Superintendent to provide exceptional playing conditions for the membership.
Continue developing knowledge and skills related to golf course maintenance through training and hands-on experience.
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
