About the Role
## Part Time Golf Pro Shop Attendant / Assistant
**Pay:** $15/hour
**Schedule:** Weekends required
**Reports to:** Director of Golf and Hospitality
### What You'll Do
Your primary mission is to serve the needs of residents, visitors, and staff by offering information and assistance in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
You'll greet members, guests, and the general public of Freedom Fairways in a friendly, cheerful, and professional manner while maintaining a neat personal appearance and dressing appropriately for the role.
Day-to-day responsibilities include answering telephones, accepting and monitoring tee times for both golf and pickle ball. You'll maintain all required daily reports, including counting cash receipts daily, recording counts in appropriate reports, and turning in receipts to the Freedom Plaza Accounting Department. You'll also complete the Golf Revenue Daily Work Sheet and keep the pro shop neat and clean through dusting, wiping counters, vacuuming carpet, and taking trash to the proper disposal area.
As part of your role, you'll support the company's Safety Program by practicing good safety habits and reporting any unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
### What We're Looking For
You'll need either a high school diploma or GED, or 1 year of experience in golf operations. Basic mathematical skills are essential—you should be comfortable adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers and making correct change on monetary transactions.
