Job Summary:
The Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for the operation at The Pro Shop. Includes the greeting of all guests, assisting guests with questions regarding retail products and charging for all retail items purchased.
The Pro Shop
Attendant is responsible for stocking retail and keeping the area well-maintained and clean. A closing the sale on retail products to guests. They are responsible for maintaining the retail area of the Pro Shop in a clean and orderly manner and should be knowledgeable of the features and benefits of all retail offerings and promotions. They must understand how to effectively recommend products to meet the needs of our guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Be on time for your shift. Properly open and close the Shop each day according to Standard Operating Procedures. Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves The Pro Shop. Utilize computers with skill and proficiency. Maintain a Shop Desk Bank. Answer the phone promptly and use the guest's name throughout the phone conversation. Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests. Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously. Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction. Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well-organized work and retail area. Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
