### About the Role

The Kids Club Attendant is responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for children at the club. You will supervise children, ensure their safety, and facilitate fun and creative activities that promote learning and development. The Attendant fosters a positive, playful atmosphere so parents feel confident their children are in capable hands. This role reports to the Director Kids Club.

Some day-to-day expectations include being courteous and exercising tact and diplomacy when dealing with members/guests and their children. You will connect with members regularly to promote club/children’s activities, offering warm welcomes and fond farewells while engaging with each member’s family in the facility. Promoting the youth/day care center amenities and programs is part of maintaining a high level of professionalism and service.

You will coordinate activities and programs appropriate to children’s ages and interests, and you must monitor and actively participate with children at all times; children must be under constant supervision by childcare attendants. Handling problem behaviors appropriately, assisting children with needs (including serving lunch or dinner with drinks), and ensuring the cleanliness of the youth/day care center are routine expectations.

Daily assignments must be completed in designated areas to uphold Club standards and maintain orderly and organized workspaces, including arranging the entry area and clearing any trash or debris.

Because the club is dynamic, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks assigned by management. You will follow all company, club, and department policies and procedures, maintain professionalism in interactions with members and colleagues, and follow safe working practices. Taking initiative in personal and professional growth and maintaining any required certifications relevant to your role is encouraged.

You will also address and resolve challenges using available resources and work with regional and corporate teams to support club operations. Attendance at daily briefings and active engagement in required activities is expected.

### Who We’re Looking For

Required:

- A high school diploma or equivalent.

- Basic first aid and CPR certification to ensure child safety.

Preferred (highly desirable but not strictly required):

- Previous experience working with children in a day care, camp, or educational setting.

- Experience in child supervision, activity planning, or youth programs.

- Familiarity with health and safety protocols for childcare environments.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff.

- The ability to manage and engage a group of young children in fun, age-appropriate activities, along with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children of various ages.

- An ability to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced or sometimes noisy environment, and strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children.

### Physical Needs and Tools

You should be prepared to engage in physical activities with children, including frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving. Tasks may involve squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, and bending. On occasion you must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. You will use toys, games, craft supplies, educational materials, phone, TV, computer, tablet, first aid kits, emergency supplies, and cleaning supplies. Talking, hearing, and seeing are essential for the role.

### Schedule and Work Environment

Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule is required. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines is expected, and availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required is part of the role.

### Compensation and Benefits

Your actual base pay will be determined by your skills, experience, education, location, and—if you're in a non-exempt role—hours worked. While not all roles at Invited are full-time, those full-time team members have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage; life insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance; a 401(k) retirement savings plan; and generous paid time off and leave programs (time off as required by applicable law is also provided for part time team members).
