POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Room Inspector is responsible for inspecting guest accommodations to ensure cleanliness, proper presentation, and readiness for guest arrival.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED

High School Diploma/GED preferred. Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect guest accommodations to ensure cleanliness and resort standards are maintained. Check bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas for cleanliness and proper presentation. Identify and report maintenance issues, damaged furniture, and missing inventory. Communicate housekeeping deficiencies and ensure corrections are completed. Ensure rooms are properly stocked with linens, towels, and guest amenities. Perform light cleaning and touch-ups as needed. Report room readiness and inspection results to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Assist with inventory control and housekeeping supplies. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures. Perform other duties as related to the needs of the resort.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS

Must be able to multitask. Guest accommodations are maintained to resort cleanliness standards. Rooms are inspected and ready for guest arrival in a timely manner. Housekeeping and maintenance issues are promptly reported. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout the workday. May require lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 25 pounds without assistance. Related duties are performed completely, accurately, and on time.
