TKC is a golf club with social amenities that celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022 while playing host to the USGA Senior Amateur Championship.</p>

<p>Kittansett is recognized and currently ranked 68th by Golf.com and 89th among Golf Digest’s “Top 100 Golf Courses”. Originally designed by William Flynn before its restoration by Gil Hanse, who continues as its course advisor, the club is tucked away between Cape Cod and Rhode Island on the “Southcoast” of Massachusetts. Founded in 1922, the Club has enjoyed a rich history due to its celebrated course design, spectacular location, passionate membership, and devoted staff. The Kittansett experience is defined by its deep traditions, sportsmanship, and understated elegance, fostering a warm community atmosphere and strong camaraderie.</p>

<p>During its memorable history, Kittansett has hosted several Massachusetts Golf Association championships, including the Massachusetts Amateur Championship and the WGAM Edith Noblit Baker Trophy. The most prestigious event hosted by Kittansett was the 1953 Walker Cup, when the United States defeated Great Britain & Ireland 9 to 3. </p>

<p><strong>QUALIFIED CANDIDATES:</strong> </p>

<li>This individual must project a high degree of professionalism every day.</li>
<li>Highly organized and detail-oriented individual with efficient time/task management skills.</li>
<li>A natural leader dedicated to the success of the team and promoting camaraderie amongst the Professional Staff.</li>
<li>Will serve as an ambassador of the Kittansett Club and perform the duties of the Head Professional in his absence.</li>

<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong> Include the following, other duties may be assigned</p>
<ul>
<li>Co-management of men’s and ladies’ tournaments.</li>
<li>Prepare and promote member events using the club website and email communications. </li>
<li>Update website on a weekly basis including tournament results and photos.</li>
<li>Administer the club newsletter.</li>
<li>Administer men’s and women’s “Play with the Pro” tournament. This includes identifying “Play with the Pro” dates.</li>
<li>Assist in development of the Junior Golf program.</li>
<li>Golf instruction – juniors, individual lessons and clinics. Unique opportunity to work with extremely talented Director of Instruction, Jimmy Tirone, and learn under his stewardship.</li>
<li>Organize hard goods training sessions for all staff members, as well as, overseeing hard good manufacturers, fitting cart and inventory.</li>
<li>Verify hard good member charges for accounts payable. This will entail matching a copy of the member charge to the packing slip, P.O. and invoice. </li>
<li>Assist in management, training and day to day responsibilities involved with Outside Operation ensuring a friendly, attentive experience is provided to all members and guests of The Kittansett Club.</li>
<li>Assist in soft good and hard goods check in, pricing and inventory.</li>
<li>Assist with the sale and display of merchandise.</li>
<li>Play golf with the membership and work on your personal game as time permits.</li>
</ul>
