Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Worker Wayzata Country Club (WCC) Seasonal | May – August | $17/hour Position Overview Wayzata Country Club is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Workers. This position runs from early May through at least the end of August, with hours varying between 20–40 hours per week depending on weather conditions. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in maintaining beautiful grounds, and enjoy working in a team setting. Schedule Requirements • Flexible schedule: 20–40 hours per week • Must be available to work weekends as needed. every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday) for 4-hour shifts • Season start/end dates and weekly hours may vary based on weather conditions Key Responsibilities • Perform daily golf course maintenance tasks, including: • Tee service • Backpack blowing • Divot repair • Driving range maintenance • Rolling greens • Rough mowing • Hand watering • Assist with general grounds and clubhouse maintenance/projects as needed • Safely operate equipment after proper training • Follow all safety protocols and procedures • Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful work environment • Report any safety concerns or incidents to supervisors immediately Qualifications • Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions • Strong punctuality and reliability • Ability to work collaboratively with all staff • Willingness to follow all policies outlined in the WCC Employee Handbook Physical Requirements • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly • Ability to walk several miles at a brisk pace • Comfortable working outdoors in varying Minnesota weather conditions Compensation & Benefits • $17/hour • Lunches provided (Tuesday–Friday) • Uniforms provided Work Environment This position requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and being part of a team dedicated to maintaining a high-quality golf course experience.
