All roles are paid positions, offering valuable experience in landscape and horticultural practices.Responsibilities Maintain the health and appearance of the golf course by mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing turf areas using manual tools and power equipment Operate irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to prevent water wastage Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, mulching, and weed control to enhance course aesthetics Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of soil, sod, or landscaping materials while following safety protocols Use chainsaws and other power tools safely for tree trimming or removal as needed to maintain course safety and appearance Manage pesticide application responsibly by following safety guidelines and regulations to control pests and diseases effectively Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools; perform basic maintenance or coordinate repairs to ensure reliable operation Skills Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance techniques Experience with lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and general landscaping practices Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, chainsaws, and other landscaping equipment safely Strong manual handling skills with the physical endurance for heavy lifting tasks Familiarity with pesticide management procedures adhering to safety standards Understanding of power tool safety protocols to prevent accidents during maintenance activities Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to course upkeep and safety standards This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the beauty and functionality of a premier golf course while developing valuable skills in groundskeeping, horticulture, and equipment management.We are committed to supporting your growth in a vibrant outdoor environment where your efforts directly enhance the experience for players and visitors.Pay:$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
