Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Banquet Set-Up Team Members to prepare our event spaces for a variety of occasions, including weddings, meetings, and special celebrations. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating memorable experiences by ensuring all banquet areas are impeccably arranged and ready to host our Members and guests. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellence will help uphold our reputation for outstanding service and hospitality.
Duties
Set up, break down, and maintain event spaces according to event orders and floor plans
Prepare banquet rooms by arranging tables, chairs, linens, tableware, décor, and other event-related items according to event specifications
Transport and properly store banquet equipment, furniture, and supplies
Ensure all banquet areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked before events commence
Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of banquet setups after events conclude
Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Team and Catering & Events Manager to ensure timely delivery of supplies and adherence to event timelines
Maintain inventory organization and assist with equipment counts when requested
Follow safety protocols when handling equipment or moving heavy items
Provide excellent guest services by addressing Member and guest needs promptly, ensuring positive Member/guest relations at all times
Maintain a positive attitude while providing excellent service to Members and guests
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality or hotel event setup is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
Excellent communication skills
Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, energetic demeanor
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in support of club events
Knowledge of resort or guest services environments is advantageous but not mandatory
Must have a valid driver's license
