Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Blue Heron Pines Golf Club is looking for an experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to assist the Food and Beverage Manager in all of the food and beverage operations on site. In this position, you will be helping create memorable experiences for all of our guests regardless of if they are hosting their wedding, meeting friends at the bar for drinks, or attending a corporate meeting. You will ensure that our guests have the best possible experience by coordinating the activities of the Food and Beverage with the other departments operating at the golf club. Must provide Blue Heron Pines Golf Club General Manager, F&B Director, Chef & Sales Director with timely reports for above items when needed.Help prepare/update an operations manual for all Food and Beverage Operations.Help establish attractive, merchandisable, profitable menus for pubs and banquets designed to attract a predetermined customer market.To establish and enforce prices for the operation of all pub, banquets, and banquet bars to achieve a profitable result.Be part of & ensure weekly BEO. (Banquet Events Organization) meetings are taking place and are effective.Maintain relationships with major clients.Ensure events and outlets are managed in compliance with safety regulations and Federal, State and local regulationsAdhere and maintain kitchen state-mandated cleanliness standardsEnsure practice of health and safety regulationsNegotiate supplier prices/costs of food and beverage products.Ensure tavern/pub standards are maintained.Promote tavern/pub in order to effect increased service & sales.Attend and contribute to managers meetingTo regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer acceptance of individual operations & to recommend to Blue Heron Pines Golf Club General Manager and Food and Beverage Director new operating and marketing policies whenever sales imply a change.Ensure guest complaints are handled tactfully and efficiently.Participate and find relevant trade shows.
