Position Overview
Met Links is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused team member to join our Pro Shop staff this fall, with the opportunity to continue with us into the 2027 golf season. This is a part-time position, typically 2-4 days per week, and is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in golf, hospitality, and customer service.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating a welcoming experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and check customers in for their rounds of golfProvide friendly, professional customer service to all guestsProcess pro shop sales and operate the point-of-sale systemAnswer customer questions and assist with tee times, course information, and general inquiriesMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming pro shopAssist with merchandise organization, restocking, and displaysSupport the golf operation with other day-to-day tasks as neededReport guest complaints promptly to ManagerWhat We're Looking For
Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skillsReliable and dependableComfortable communicating with customers in person and over the phoneAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious golf or retail experience is helpful, but not required - we are willing to train the right personInterest in continuing with Met Links through the 2027 golf seasonQUALIFICATIONS
Excellent Communication skills requiredAbility to accurately count and handle moneyPositive interpersonal skills requiredAbility to work well under pressure and coordinate multiple tasksAbility to lift 25lbs and bend while performing work dutiesSchedule
Part-time: 2–4 days per week
Fall 2026 with the opportunity to continue into the 2027 season.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
