Position Summary:
As a Lead Line Cook, you will take a hands-on leadership role in supporting the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring the preparation of high-quality, consistent dishes for our members and guests. In this role, you will help oversee the line staff, manage food prep, and contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Lead and assist line cooks in preparing and assembling menu items according to established recipes and standards.Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented to meet quality and consistency expectations.Oversee kitchen stations during service, ensuring readiness, cleanliness, and efficiency.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior kitchen staff; assist in training new team members.Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership regarding prep levels, food quality, and line performance.Monitor food storage and rotation to maintain freshness and reduce waste.Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen.Uphold all food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with local health regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role; previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a high-heat environment.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.Frequent bending, reaching, and other physical activity related to kitchen duties.Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced, and sometimes noisy setting.
