Player Services Attendant - Seasonal

Player Services Attendant Reports to: Director of Player Services Department: Player Services Education and/or Experience High School diploma or GED equivalent. Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations Knowledgeable about the game of golf and its rules. Knowledge of and ability to perform the required role in emergency situations. Job Summary (Essential Functions) Provide bag, golf cart, and range services to members and guests. Job Tasks/Duties Brings golf carts from the cart barn to the cart staging area outside the Golf Shop; checks golf carts for tire pressure, brake operation, and other safety considerations. Loads bags from the bag room onto golf carts. Transports range balls to each end of the range and fills appropriate containers. Places baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on the range. Operates tractor and ball picker on the range to retrieve balls. Washes all range balls daily. Removes bags from golf carts and returns bags to the assigned rack in the bag storage room. Returns golf cart to cart barn; removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc., from golf carts and saves reusable items; checks cart for damage; washes golf cart with pressure cleaner; parks cart in barn and connects charger cable. Advises Golf Shop of clubs found on the course and destined for the lost and found. Cleans all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club’s rental equipment. Maintains the cleanliness of and order in the Bag Room. Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Director of Players Services Licenses and Special Requirements Valid driver’s license. Physical Demands and Work Environment Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment that is typical of this position. Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling Frequent repetitive motions. Continuous standing and walking.
