About the Role
Position Summary
An established golf course in Orlando, Florida is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and hands-on General Manager to oversee all aspects of golf course operations. The successful candidate will lead the team, improve profitability, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain high operational standards throughout the facility.
Compensation
Salary: $75,000 per year.Performance bonus may be awarded at the discretion of ownership based on the club's profitability and overall performance at the end of the fiscal year.Work Schedule: Monday through Friday (weekend availability required for tournaments, special events, or business needs).Minimum Qualifications
Minimum five (5) years of experience as a General Manager of a golf course or golf club (required).Proven success managing golf facilities.Strong knowledge of golf operations, food & beverage, tournaments, hospitality, and special events.Experience with budgeting, payroll, purchasing, forecasting, and cost control.Demonstrated ability to increase revenue while controlling expenses.Strong leadership, communication, and staff management skills.Proficiency with golf management software and Microsoft Office.Valid driver's license.Key Responsibilities
Oversee all daily golf course operations.Manage Golf Operations, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Events, and Administration.Increase rounds, tournaments, outings, and event revenue.Monitor financial performance and operating expenses.Work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to maintain excellent course conditions.Prepare operational and financial reports for ownership.Preferred Qualifications
PGA Member or PGA Associate preferred but not required.Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Golf Management, or a related field is an advantage.Only applicants with a minimum of five years of golf course general management experience will be considered.
Pay: $75,000.00 per year
