<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p><br />GOLF INSTRUCTION<br />• Deliver engaging private and group instruction to<br />Members and guests of all skill levels.<br />• Continuously evolve as an instructor by staying<br />current with modern teaching methods,<br />technologies, and philosophies to ensure an elite<br />coaching experience.<br />• Build strong instructional relationships that<br />enhance Member enjoyment and long-term<br />development.</p> <p><br />GOLF SHOP &amp; RETAIL OPERATIONS<br />• Lead and support Golf Shop Associates through<br />hands-on training, mentorship, and service<br />leadership.<br />• Set the tone for exceptional hospitality by<br />providing knowledgeable, attentive service to all<br />Members and guests.<br />• Conduct monthly inventory audits to ensure<br />accuracy in receiving, billing, and merchandising.<br />• Manage ordering, receiving, and pricing for<br />assigned vendors with attention to detail and<br />brand standards.</p> <p><br />TOURNAMENT &amp; EVENT OPERATIONS<br />• Plan, organize, and execute weekly events,<br />leagues, major tournaments, and special golf<br />experiences.<br />• Collaborate with other club departments to<br />ensure seamless, polished execution of all<br />golf-related events.<br />• Work closely with Member Services and Go<br />Kiawah to align schedules, communications,<br />and promotions within the Club Calendar and<br />Seasonal Guides.</p> <p><br />CLUB FITTING &amp; EQUIPMENT EXPERTISE<br />• Conduct professional club fittings in the absence of<br />the Director of Club Fitting, optimizing equipment<br />for each Member’s game.<br />• Maintain strong product knowledge and stay<br />informed on the latest equipment, fitting<br />technologies, and industry innovations.</p> <p><br />PACE OF PLAY &amp; ON-COURSE PRESENCE<br />• Maintain a visible, professional presence on the golf<br />course to support an efficient and enjoyable pace<br />of play.<br />• Independently manage pace-of-play<br />responsibilities as assigned by the Head Golf<br />Professional.<br />• Utilize clear, confident communication to resolve<br />on-course challenges quickly and effectively.</p> <p><br />PRACTICE FACILITY &amp; STARTER OPERATIONS<br />• Serve as a welcoming host for Members and guests upon arrival, creating a first-class experience from the<br />first interaction.<br />• Provide leadership and support to Golf Services Associates as needed.<br />• Ensure tee sheet accuracy for billing and accounting purposes.<br />• Deliver personalized service, golf insight, and swing advice whenever opportunities naturally arise.</p> <p><br />COURSE SETUP &amp; MAINTENANCE COLLABORATION<br />• Collaborate with the Grounds team by providing feedback on course setup and playing conditions.<br />• Assist in daily course setup, ensuring tees, pin placements, and on-course amenities meet Cassique standards<br />of excellence.</p> <p><br />PERSONAL &amp; PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT<br />• Maintain a high level of playing ability and represent Cassique in regional and national events, including pro-ams.<br />• Engage with Members on the golf course when schedules allow to foster meaningful relationships.<br />• Obtain or maintain PGA Class A Membership in a timely manner, with ongoing education encouraged.<br />• Pursue leadership and service opportunities through CPGA involvement, PGA HOPE, and other<br />philanthropic initiatives.</p> <p><br />QUALIFICATIONS<br />• PGA or LPGA Membership or Level Progress (preferred)<br />• Experience working as a Golf Professional at a high-end<br />private club<br />• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and<br />public-speaking skills<br />• Strong knowledge of modern golf equipment and<br />instructional technology<br />• Proven commitment to service excellence and<br />operational detail<br />• Confidence leading groups, events, and Member-facing<br />experiences<br />• Preferred software experience:<br />• NorthStar<br />• Golf Genius<br />• Microsoft Office<br />• TrackMan, V1, and/or Swing Catalyst</p>
