The Food and Beverage (F&B) Supervisor position at Waialae Country Club is a full-time role requiring dedication and expertise in managing daily operations within the department. Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage and Food & Beverage Manager, the F&B Supervisor oversees the food and beverage outlets, ensuring superior service delivery that matches the club’s esteemed reputation. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, with the supervisor actively engaging in daily service to promote efficiency, smooth workflow, and adherence to club standards.
In this position, the supervisor is responsible for managing employees within the designated outlets, overseeing training, and fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. They also coordinate daily operations, maintain order and cleanliness, and address member requests and concerns timely and professionally. The role requires strong communication skills, operational oversight, and the ability to solve problems creatively while maintaining the club’s service standards and safety protocols.
Waialae Country Club offers a competitive starting pay rate of $28 to $32 per hour depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, a 401k plan with employer match, golf privileges, free parking, and free meals. High school diploma or GED
1-2 years of restaurant supervisor experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education/experience
Thorough knowledge of casual and fine dining food and beverage operations including wine knowledge
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
Hotel and/or private club experience preferred
Must have Liquor Commission Card and TB Clearance
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move/lift up to 50 pounds
