The role of Server at Illini Country Club is critical to maintaining the high standards for which the club is known. A Server acts as a primary point of contact with members and guests in the dining facilities, providing courteous, efficient, and personalized service that enhances each dining experience. This position requires an individual who is passionate about hospitality, possesses excellent communication skills, and can operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining poise and professionalism.
Servers at the club greet members and guests warmly, guide them to their tables, present menus, and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings when requested. They take orders accurately, relay these promptly to the kitchen and bar, and serve food and beverages efficiently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment. Maintaining cleanliness and organization is a key part of the role, as is processing payments securely. The Server works closely with kitchen staff and team members to ensure seamless service delivery that meets or exceeds the club’s standards. Current Illinois food handler's and BASSETT certifications or willingness to obtain within seven days of hire
Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend for extended periods of time
