Job Overview Join our dynamic grounds maintenance team as a Grounds Maintenance Staff member and play a vital role in ensuring the beauty, safety, and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves maintaining athletic fields, landscaped areas, and golf course grounds through hands-on work with a variety of tools and equipment. You will be responsible for executing routine landscaping tasks, operating groundskeeping machinery, and supporting irrigation systems to create pristine environments that inspire and delight. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to uphold aesthetic standardsOperate ground maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, power trimmers, and aerators safely and efficientlyMaintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers and automated watering setupsSupport field groundskeeping by preparing surfaces for games and events, ensuring optimal turf health and safetyUse hand tools and power tools responsibly for landscaping projects while adhering to safety protocolsConduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or materials to facilitate landscaping projects or equipment maintenanceManage pesticide applications following safety guidelines to control pests while protecting the environmentSkills Proficiency in operating groundskeeping machinery including mowers, chainsaws, power tools, and irrigation systemsStrong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and turf managementExperience with athletic field groundskeeping or golf course maintenance is highly desirableAbility to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and equipment setup or repairFamiliarity with pesticide management procedures and safety standardsKnowledge of power tool safety protocols and routine equipment maintenance techniquesValid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles or other grounds maintenance vehiclesJoin us in creating vibrant outdoor environments that foster community engagement and outdoor enjoyment!
