Position Summary
Foxfire Golf and Country Club is looking for a valued team member to deliver exceptional service to a welcoming membership. Provide bag, golf car and range services to members and guests.

Position Responsibilities
Stage golf carts ready for the day’s tee times. (Daily)
Add information on steering wheels if appropriate. Example Daily Lunch Special.
Load member’s bags onto appropriate carts. (Per tee time and Starting course)
Keep alert for cars arriving at bag drop. This will make you visible to members and guests. By being visible you can provide directions to the golf shop, water station, restrooms, etc.
Clean all clubs and golf carts at the completion of each round.
Maintain driving range:
Fill baskets with balls (As needed)
Pick entire range (As needed)
Clean club cleaner and change dirty towels (Weekly)
Keep abreast of any changes to the day’s tee sheet. (Hourly)
Keep cart barn clean, organized and safe. (Daily)
Empty all trash receptacles. (Daily)
Lock and secure the Cart Barn every night.
All carts cleaned, prepped, and plugged in.
Lock pool bathrooms.
Position Qualifications
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be capable of maintaining a pleasant and agreeable demeanor with members, guests and fellow employees.
Extensive knowledge of the game of golf and the rules of golf.
Ability to work with limited supervision
Must present a neat personal appearance.
Ability to multi-task under very busy conditions
Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Previous working experience working in or around a pro shop setting.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Knowledgeable about the game of golf and its rules.
Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
Education, Licenses, and Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This is a full-time year-round onsite position.
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
Comfortably able to push, pull, or lift to 50 pounds as part of daily responsibilities.
Continuous repetitive motions.
Work in hot/cold, humid and noisy environment.
Must be able to lift heavy weights including golf bags, range balls and any other job-related objects.
Work Location: In person
