Tennis and Pickleball Pro Shop Merchandiser

Job Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced part time Pro Shop Merchandiser to join our esteemed Private Golf and Country Club facility; The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall customer experience while maintaining the overall presentation of the Pro Shop. The ideal candidate should possess 1-3 years of relevant experience in retail, preferably within a court sports setting but not required. Responsibilities:The Merchandiser is responsible for assisting the Buyer/Merchandise Manager in maintaining all aspects of the Pro Shop retail merchandise operations.Establish a rapport with the Membership by providing excellent customer service, assisting with all their retail needs.Maintain the stockroom’s organization and efficiency.Ensure the shop is consistently neat and clean.Assist in creating visually appealing and organized displays.Assist in receiving, pricing and managing inventory levels through our inventory management system.Utilize the POS system for completing transactions accurately and efficiently.Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders as needed to ensure product availability.Assist in Monthly Inventory Counts.Place, monitor and follow through on special orders.Assist in retail promotion using our website, member e-mail and social media. Qualifications:1 to 3 years of experience in a retail setting with a focus on pro merchandise preferred.Knowledge of court sports apparel, and accessories.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in point-of- sale systems and computer skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to work well under pressure and think creatively.Ability to work at least one weekend day.
