We are looking for a reliable Busser/Runner to join our team at La Grange Country Club. In this role, you’ll support our servers and kitchen by keeping dining areas clean, resetting tables, and delivering food and beverages efficiently. You’ll help create a welcoming and smooth dining experience for our members and guests through teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities & Professional Expectations
· Professionalism: Maintain a friendly, courteous, and helpful presence at all times.
· Supportive Service: Assist servers and the kitchen by clearing and setting tables, delivering food and beverages, and keeping the dining area tidy.
· Attention to Detail: Ensure tables are clean, orders are delivered correctly, and timing supports smooth service.
· Teamwork: Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and leadership to keep service running efficiently.
· Member Engagement: Greet members warmly and help create a welcoming dining experience.
· Reliability: Be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Requirements
· Experience: Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is helpful but not required; willingness to learn and follow service standards is key.
· Service Awareness: Basic understanding of food and beverage service flow, with eagerness to learn the traditions and expectations of our club.
· Communication: Clear, courteous, and professional communication with members, guests, and team members.
· Member Focus: Friendly attitude and a genuine interest in helping create a positive dining experience.
· Attention to Detail: Care in clearing, resetting, and maintaining tables, as well as delivering items accurately and on time.
· Professionalism: Maintain a polished appearance, respectful demeanor, and positive attitude that reflects the club’s values.
· Teamwork: Work collaboratively with servers, cooks, and leadership to support smooth service and a positive work environment.
· Punctuality & Reliability: Arrive on time, prepared, and dependable for scheduled shifts.
