Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chefs role located in Garden Grove, CA. The Chef will prepare and cook menu items to club standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and proper presentation for daily service and special events. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing food preparation, coordinating with kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas, and following all food safety and sanitation guidelines. The Chef will assist with menu planning, inventory management, and cost control, as well as support training and guidance for culinary team members. Collaboration with front-of-house staff and management is essential to deliver an outstanding dining experience for members and guests.
Qualifications
Professional culinary skills, including experience with a variety of cooking techniques, food preparation, and plating for upscale dining environments.Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and best practices for maintaining a clean and compliant kitchen.Experience with menu planning, recipe development, and basic inventory and cost control to support efficient kitchen operations.Strong teamwork and communication abilities, with a focus on collaborating effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.Ability to work standing for extended periods, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting, and maintain composure during high-volume service.Previous experience in a country club, hotel, or fine dining restaurant is preferred.Culinary degree, certificate, or equivalent professional training is beneficial.Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
