Responsibilities
Work closely with the Event Services Director and Event Services Manager to coordinate all aspects of managing a golf tournamentVolunteer Administration - assist with the management of the entire volunteer process which includes application process, data entry, communication with volunteers and chairmen, volunteer package preparation, headquarters management, etc.Assist Event Services Director with organizing Sponsor Day, Honorary Observers, Women in Business Event, Media Day, Am-Am, and other smaller events/meetingsResponsible for inventory of tournament apparel, prizes, etc.; Management of incoming tournament related shipments.Update materials related to corporate hospitality, players, volunteers, etc.Manage tournament hospitality guide and assist with communication to corporate clientsAssist with general administrative work (ie answering phones, purchasing, billing, etc.)Requirements
Strong interpersonal, organizational and computer skills are crucialStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to take initiative and be proactive in accomplishing tasksAbility to manage multiple tasks at once and work well under pressureManage time efficientlyAbility to work in a team environment as well as individuallySome heavy lifting and labor is requiredNice-to-haves
Graduating senior or graduate student in an accredited four-year college or university or currently possess a bachelor’s degreeSports Marketing/Management, Marketing, Communications or comparable majors preferredPrior sporting event experience preferred
