Seasonal Golf Maintenance

The Hoffman Estates Park District is looking for reliable, hardworking, seasonal staff to help maintain the daily appearance and playability of the golf course at Bridges of Poplar Creek. This role supports the grounds crew with mowing, landscaping, and general course upkeep to ensure top playing conditions for guests. Essential Job Duties Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough using walk-behind and riding mowers Rake bunkers and maintain sand traps Assist with irrigation, hand watering, and drainage tasks Trim, edge, and landscape around course features Repair ball marks, divots, and course wear areas Keep maintenance equipment clean and in good working condition Follow all safety procedures and course standards Assist with special projects and tournament preparation as needed The Hoffman Estates Park District is a proactive equal-opportunity employer. Position Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to ~50 lbs Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Willingness to learn and follow instructions Previous golf course or landscaping experience is a plus, but not required Early mornings, weekends and holidays.
