Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:I. POSITION PURPOSE Responsible for the day-to-day mowing and grooming operations of the golf course and groundsII. ACCOUNTABILITIES Properly mow greens, repair ball marks and report problems to managementProperly mow tees, including resetting of tee markersProperly groom bunkers, including removal of weeds and notify management of improper sand conditionsUse small equipment, including string trimmer and push mowersPractice “clean as you go” and general housekeeping dutiesPunctual and ready to work at start of each day’s activitiesOther duties as assigned Requirements:III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specifiedAbility to read and writeAbility to operate all tools and equipment used in day-to-day operationsCurrent, valid Driver’s LicenseDemonstrated organization and coordination skills and ability to meet deadlines and multi-taskPossess a calm, efficient and helpful manner and be able to work under pressure under tight deadlinesAbility to maintain quality and safety standardsExcellent interpersonal/relationship-building skillsProven record of providing excellent internal and external customer serviceIV. Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be able to sit, stand, walk, drive, squat, kneel, reach, bend, stoop, twist, climb, clean and lift up to 50 pounds with frequent repetitive motionsMust be able to handle continuous standing and walking and walking on rough or uneven groundMust be able to handle hot and cold interior and exterior conditions with occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditionsMust be able to handle moderate to loud noise in the work environmentMust be able to handle exposure to dust, fumes or gasesMust be able to work in close proximity to moving machinery and be able to use equipment and tools required for the positionIndependent mobility
