This is a management role.

We need a superintendent with enough technical command of course maintenance to direct it with authority, but we value leadership, disciplined operations, and the judgment to make sound decisions without waiting to be told.What We're Looking ForIn order of priority:Technical Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of turfgrass science, agronomy, irrigation systems, and equipment, to diagnose a problem anywhere on the course and direct the fix.Leadership & Culture:Runs the barn: sets the tone, drives process improvements, and builds a team that’s disciplined and accountable.Supervisory Management:Builds smart schedules, organizes crews, maximizes labor hours, and communicates clearly with both leadership and staff.Autonomy & Ownership:Makes sound decisions independently, owns the outcomes, and acts without waiting to be told.Business acumen is a plus, not a requirement.
