Del Tura Golf Club, located in North Fort Myers, FL , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Greenskeeper ! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation: $15 hourly
Ideal candidates have a passion for landscaping and nurturing our grounds. As a Grounds Keeper, you will be responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course. Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work extended hours during golf and holiday season, as needed.
Our team has made a conscious effort to ensure strong protocols are in place to keep you and our patrons safe, so you can focus on the customer experience, landscape, and equipment maintenance.
Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
cleans flower beds
Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
or up to one-month related experience or training; Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job
Regularly exposed to hot and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, moving mechanical parts, compact spaces, hot attic temperatures, and outside weather conditions
