Golf Course Superintendent: Turf, Irrigation & Team Leader

Pleasant View Golf Club is an 18 hole course over a rolling terrain located near Canton, Ohio. We pride ourselves on a well maintained golf course for our golfers and guests. We have been a family owned and operated course since 1965 and we are looking to fill the position our retiring superintendent. We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on individual who will be entrusted with the daily operation of the grounds and outside services. Duties and Responsibilities of Superintendent include but not limited to: Coordinating schedules and assigning tasks to staff. Knowledge of operating/maintaining a variety of equipment. Application of chemicals, fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides. Operate, maintain and install irrigation and drainage systems. Hiring, training and supervision of current and new staff. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Keep a well maintained turf and playing conditions for players and events. Communicate with Director of Golf and General manager on projects and needs. Building and Keeping a budget. Minimum of a High School Diploma Applicator's License Previous experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent •
